What is Linocut Block Printing?

A linocut, or lino print, is a type of relief printmaking technique where an image is carved into a linoleum block, cutting away the areas that won't be printed, and then inking the remaining raised areas to transfer the image onto paper.

Process of printmaking

  1. Draw and Transfer to Linoleum Block

  2. Carve Design

  3. Apply Ink

  4. Press on Paper

Block Print Product Disclaimer:

Every block print you see here is lovingly created by hand using traditional block printing techniques. Because each print is stamped individually with hand-carved blocks, you’ll notice lovely little variations in ink texture, color, and placement. These charming quirks aren’t imperfections — they’re part of the story and soul of each piece, making your print truly one of a kind. Thanks so much for appreciating the handmade beauty in every print!

Why Thrifting?

One of the largest polluters in the world is fast fashion. With inspiration coming from nature, we want to do our small part in being eco-friendly and sustainable. Giving new life to existing garments lets us reduce waste and create truly unique items.

Clothing Sourcing Statement:

The Thrifted & Printed collection uses thrifted, secondhand, or upcycled clothing. We love hunting for hidden gems so most of our clothes are thrifted and repurposed just for you. That means your piece is one-of-a-kind, and might have little quirks from its past life (tiny fades, softened fabric, or seams with stories). We clean everything up and make sure it's in great shape before it gets printed and sent to you. Each materials are selected for their unique character and sustainability.
